Travelers Help Moroccan Women Farmers
Then Explore the Magic of  Morocco
Give Back Kick Back Travel and Women Worldwide offer travelers a
volunteer tourism adventure in Morocco, September 2010

Boston, MA and Austin, TX
- Responding to recent trends in volunteer tourism, Give Back Kick Back Travel is creating adventure trips for the socially conscious traveler.  Combining world-class travel with a hands-on service project in Morocco, this September/October 2010 trip gives travelers an exciting opportunity to savor Imperial Cities, camp in the desert, visit Roman ruins, and ride camels, while also donating and planting fruit trees to local women farmers in need.

"Many world travelers want to make a difference when they travel," said Tina Williamson, founder of Women Worldwide and co-founder of Give Back Kick Back Travel.  "People who volunteer abroad often want to tour the country they are visiting. And, research confirms that many world travelers would love an opportunity help people in the countries they are visiting. Combining the two – volunteering and tourism – is travel with a purpose."

The “Celebrate Morocco” trip, September 18–October 3, 2010, takes travelers on a tour of this culturally
rich and exotic country that includes a 3-day stay in Bab Boudir, a small mountain village outside of Taza to help local farmers by donating and helping plant fruit trees.

For the
'Kick Back' segment of the trip, the group will travel by 4x4s from a coastline bathed in Mediterranean breezes to explore Fez, Volubilis, then drive through the Atlas Mountains, to the Sahara Desert, on to Marrakech, and stay in many Berber towns in between. Travelers are immersed in Moroccan culture as they experience historic sights, ancient sounds and intoxicating scents unique to this magical country. They’ll be treated to local music, walking tours, traditional mint-tea ceremonies, and an opportunity to meet, mingle and work with locals.

"This is truly a journey for those with an adventurous spirit," said Pamela Bracken, of Give Back Kick Back Travel. "We'll dine with Tuaregs, participate in a drumming workshop, dance with local musicians, camp in the Sahara  and stay in Riads in the Medina, ride camels, and shop in local souks that are centuries old.”

In the
'Give Back' segment of the trip the travelers will plant fruit trees donated by Give Back Kick Back to five poor farming families headed by women, many widowed, who could use a little help. The group will roll up their sleeves to help the farming families plant the trees, perhaps doubling their income potential, giving them and future generations a lasting gift, then share meals and tribal music with the beneficiaries in their orchards.

Space is limited to
18 travelers. For the itinerary and pricing visit:  www.givebackkickback.com
